Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor was a little emotional but nice. On the back of the tickets to get in they put a picture and personal information of someone who was affected by Pearl Harbor. On the back of my mom's ticket was a soldier who wrote a letter home asking for a picture of his mom. Well, he never got it. He died during the attack. My mom started crying before we even got inside. We got to watch a 20 minute film recapping what happened on that day. Then we took a ferry out to one of the ships that sank. It is pretty neat because you can actually still see fuel from the USS Arizona after all these years!

Kualoa Ranch

We went to Kualoa Ranch. We toured where they filmed movies such as Jurassic Park, 50 First Dates, Pearl Harbor, Mighty Joe Young and many more!

Zyon throwing sand

Me, Lorenzo, Edwin and Zyon went to Hukilau Beach. Lorenzo and Edwin went body surfing so I got to watch Zyon. He had a blast throwing sand at me. I would tell him no more and he would laugh and throw more. It was all worth it though just to see his smile.

We went to Hawaii for our 10 yr Anniversary. My parents flew in from Florida to vacation with us. We had alot of fun! We went to the Polynesian Cultural Center, the Dole Plantation, Pearl Harbor and Kualoa Ranch. The scenery in Hawaii is to die for. We really enjoyed getting to see Edwin, Becky and Zyon. A big thanks to them for all they did for us! We love you guys!!!!

Hawaii Trip
